8 x Roubiček

Marcel Roubicek is a blind old man living in an old-age home in Prague. In 8 x Roubicek he tells his life’s story in eight interviews.  The interviews are conducted by alternating male and female interviewers in Czech, German, Hebrew and Arabic: the languages though which he lived his unlikely tale.  The final result is a multi-channel video installation concerned with identity, language, memory and storytelling.
